Description
A filler panel is mandatory to close gaps in the front or rear panel of not fully populated MTCA chassis.
If these undesired openings are not closed, the airflow inside the chassis is disturbed and the cooling performance reduces. Moreover, electromagnetic radiation from outside can irradiate and vice versa.
To ensure optimal fitting accuracy, the NAMC-Filler is available in many faceplate variations for front and rear slots.
Depending on the orientation of the modules towards airflow direction, it is crucial to use a filler panel with or without air blocker. Generally, horizontal airflow requires filler panels without air blockers, vertical airflow requires filler panels with air blocker.
