NATIVE-C5

The NATIVE-C5 is a compact and space optimized 5U MTCA.4 system with 7 double AMC slots – 6 supporting mid-size, and one supporting full-size AMCs. It can be operated with one double full-size MCH and a double full-size Power Module.

The backplane features special bussed connections for triggers, clocks, and interlocks. The NATIVE-C5 also includes point-to-point SAS/SATA and fabric connections between AMCs and MCH.

The chassis is equipped with a hot-swap Cooling Unit, which is accessible from the front.

• TCLKA, TCLKB, FCLKA: between MCH and each AMC (MCH CKL1, CKL2, CKL3)

• AMC Ports 17-20: bussed connections
• IPMB_0A, IPMB_0B: between MCH, PM, CU
• IPMB_L: between MCH and each AMC

Cooling Unit

• 1x Cooling Unit (hot-swappable)
• 4x 12 VDC with 110 m³/h (64 cfm)
• Total max: 440 m³/h (256 cfm)
• CU is fully managed and hot-swappable
• EMMC monitors fan power for early failure detection
• Air filter removed detection
