Description

The NAT-PM-AC600D is a high-density and high-efficiency AC/DC Power Module for MTCA applications. It is hot-swappable, fully redundant, and fully compatible with any standard compliant FRU insertable into a MTCA chassis.

The NAT-PM-AC600D provides up to 600W output power for a total of 16 power channels. This is sufficient for the expected workload of 12 AMCs, 2 CUs, and 2 MCHs with 12V @ 6.6A max. and 3.3V @ 180mA max.

Additionally, it supports backup power for up to three other Power Modules in the MTCA system (shared management power – SMP).

A robust Enhanced Module Management Controller (EMMC) interfaces the power control functionality via the Intelligent Platform Management Bus (IPMB) to the MCH.

Via LEDs at the front panel, the module monitors its total power load in real time. Moreover, it owns indication LEDs for hot-swap, failure, and heartbeat.
