N.A.T. is a consortium member of the Taktilus KMU project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

The Taktilus project is part of the Communications Systems and Computer Security group of research projects around Industry 4.0.

The scope of Taktilus is a tactile internet for time sensitive applications in industrial automation and process control.

Based on modern cellular mobile technologies such as Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) together with other consortium members N.A.T. develops new approaches and solutions for event triggered, flexible and scalable machine-to-machine (M2M) communication. These are particularly important for control of industrial machines and robots.
